A Family Clinic, Since 1991
Jane and John Doe opened a two-room clinic in an old bakery on Example Street. Thirty-five years, one daughter and a lot of pets later, we're still here, and still independent.

From one room to today
- 1991The bakery becomes a clinic
Jane and John Doe open two consulting rooms on Example Street. The first patient is a parrot called Socrates.
- 1998Our first nurse
Jane Doe joins as a nurse. She now runs the whole nursing team.
- 2005Room to grow
We take over the shop next door and add a surgical suite and recovery ward.
- 2012Jane comes home
After training in Lyon, their daughter Jane returns to lead surgery and, later, the clinic.
- 2016Feathers and scales
Dr. John Doe joins and our exotics service begins.
- 2019Cat-friendly clinic
Dr. Jane Doe sets up a separate cat waiting area and our ultrasound service.
- TodayStill family, still independent
Four vets, eight nurses and receptionists, and around 6,000 registered pets.
What we believe

- Plain talkWe explain what we find in everyday words, and write it down for you.
- Fair, clear pricesA written estimate before treatment and options to suit different budgets.
- Neighbors firstWe live here too. Pangrati's pets and people come before any target.

In the neighborhood

Shelter partnerships
We neuter, vaccinate and check every animal for two Athens shelters at cost, around 400 a year.

School visits
Each spring our vets (and Pipo the tortoise) visit local primary schools to talk about kind, safe pet care.

Street cat care
We support Pangrati's community cat feeders with free health checks on the first Saturday of the month.
